40k Battle Report

Just to be different, we had a game of 40k this weekend.  It was great fun, we had a few beers, and we had a massive game (all told about 2300 a side).  We made a couple of mistakes (as it happens, the mistakes happen on one of the only combats we filmed - doh!)

The armies weren't exactly sensible (there was a Titan, a fire raptor an storm eagle and so on) but it was hugely fun.

New aleph minis

Beasts of war showed a preview of the forthcoming specialists for Aleph.

Can't wait for their profiles.  Steel phalanx needs another hacker option, I wonder if the points will make her worth it.

What is it, and what am I painting it for?

Ack!

Work continues.  All base colours (except on characters) applied, shade applied, basing material applied.  Highlights, NMM and yellows needed to be done, then bases painted.

Enough for one night.  Most of the base coats done on the Martians and Martian dredd

Plan on getting the grunts and some characters done this week.  Will move onto the more elite stuff then.  Stand by for a lot of Mars Attacks.... Cross overs lol.

Order Sergeants Done (Yay!)

Finished the 6 order sergeants for this week at last.  Motivation was hard to come by, but I forced myself.  Finally coming to an end with the Panoceania (still a huge chunk left though)

Three spec. Sergeants (Spitfire/MSV, Hacker, Sniper)

And three vanilla with combi rifles.  Just the Teutonic Knights (2), Knights of Santiago (4), and Magister Knights (5) to go for MO lol.

Then some odds and sods and Panoceania is done (apart from the new Aquilla) until they release more lol.
